Online/Blended Training Option
Online/Blended courses are the same courses as the classroom trainings- the difference is the class room portion is completed online rather than in the classroom and students usually complete this portion in less time than the classroom lecture course. Online/Blended training combines the convenience of online training with a shortened face to face session.
Here's how it works!
Part 1. Each student independently completes the course lecture portion, online, at their convenience, at their pace.
Part 2. Your Face to Face skill practice & testing session will take place either immediately before or after the CPR/AED classroom session. Or you may contact Justin at 805.308.2252 and arrange your First Aid skill testing session at another time that is convenient for you.
Part 3. Satisfactorily perform the physical skill components at the evaluation session. Complete & pass a written exam. Receive certification that is valid for 2 years.
You will be receiving an email with a link to get into the Basic First Aid class. Please bookmark this link, as you can return to it often. You can begin and re-start the online class at your convenience. After each lesson, there is a quiz. If you have not worked on the class for a few days, a reminder email will be sent to keep you on track. You need to have Adobe flash 8.0 or newer to operate the blended class and videos.
You MUST Print off and bring the First Aid Completion certificate to your skill session or you will not be issued a certification card.
Your Skill session will be held immediately before the classroom CPR/AED course.
(This is not an ONLINE ONLY Class because you are required to do a face to face session with an Authorized Instructor to ensure you understand the content, can perform the skills and take a written test. ONLINE ONLY courses never have the student tested for skill competency or content understanding.)
