ASHI Adult , Child & Infant CPR/AED 
(Includes:  Digital Student Guide & Print Certification Card) Course intended to prepare individuals to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies including performing Adult, Child and Infant  CPR and safely using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. Cards are issued the same day and certification is valid for 2 years.

ASHI Basic First Aid  (Includes Digital Student Guide & Certification Card) COURSETOPICS -  Emergency First Aid Care, Recognizing an Emergency, Deciding to Help, Personal Safety, Using Barriers, Assessing for Response, Mechanism for Spinal Injury, Activating Emergency Medical Services, Control of Bleeding, Managing Shock, Ongoing Assessment, Warning Signs of Serious Illness, Altered Level of Responsiveness, Pain, Severe Pressure, or Discomfort in Chest, Breathing Difficulty, Shortness of Breath, Severe Abdominal Pain, Mechanism for Significant Injury, Swollen, Painful, Deformed Limb, Specific First Aid Problems, Moving Patients, Emotional Impact of Providing First Aid Care
 

Online Course Work combined with Skill Testing Session Instruction:

Online/Blended courses are the same courses as the onsite trainings- the difference is the class room portion is completed online rather than in the classroom and students usually complete this portion in less time than the classroom lecture course. Online/Blended training combines the convenience of online training with a shortened face to face session. The face to face session covers a review, practice time, skill evaluation and written test and it takes less time! Here's how it works!

 

Part 1.  Each student independently completes the course lecture portion, online, at their convenience, at their pace, before the onsite skill/test date.

Part 2.  Your  Face to Face skill practice & test session would be scheduled at a time tha is agreed upon by you and the instructor

Part 3.  Students satisfactorily perform the physical skill components at the test session

Refund Policy: 

CPR/AED, First Aid & BLS Courses -A processing fee of $25.00 will be retained for cancellations received more than 2 business days prior to course date. No refund for no shows or cancellations less than 2 business days prior to course date. An additional $10.00 administrative fee will be charged for rescheduling to another course date less than 2 business days prior to the scheduled course. EBOOKS ARE FINAL SALE IF YOU CANCEL YOUR CLASS FOR ANY REASON, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A REFUND FOR THE EBOOK.  

Credit card and PayPal refunds Effective October 1, 2019In line with industry practice, Credit card and Pay Pal processing fees will be subtracted from the refund amount as this are not reversed by the processor for fees from the original transaction when a refund is issued.

Full refund if the course is canceled* by Safety Matters Certified Training for reason other than listed here. *Class Cancellation caused by a Natural or Man made disasters, emergencies or Public Safety Power Shutoffs are subject to rescheduling accomdations only.*
 
Refund Policy for Online/Blended Courses: This includes ASHI online/blended and American Heart Association Part 1, 2, 3 or Skill check off only classes. NO REFUNDS once you have purchased the Online Blended Course(s).
