This is the most common kind of CPR certification needed by Healthcare Professionals. Healthcare professionals include, but are not limited to, the following: Doctors, Nurses, Emergency Medical Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, Medical Assistants, Physician Assistants, Respiratory Therapists, Phlebotomy Technicians, Electrocardiogram Technicians, or any other ancillary healthcare practitioners who work in a clinical setting or hospital.
The Basic Life Support for Health Providers class provides information on adult and pediatric CPR, including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask. Also covers foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious), automated external defibrillation (includes child AED update), special resuscitation situations, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies.
Classes are scheduled for 4 hours per the American Heart Association; However class times usually are competed in 3 .5 hours.

Online courses are the same courses as the onsite trainings- the difference is the class room portion is completed online rather than in the classroom and students usually complete this portion in less time than the classroom lecture course. Online/training combines the convenience of online training with a shortened face to face session. The face to face session covers a practice time & skill evaluation. Here's how it works!
. EACH STUDENT MUST HAVE THEIR OWN EMAIL ADDRESS.
Here's how it works!
Part 1. Each student independently completes the course lecture portion, online, at their convenience, at their pace.
Part 2. Your face to face Skill session will be conducted immediately before the classroom CPR course
Part 3. Satisfactorily perform the physical skill components at the evaluation session. Complete & pass a written exam. Receive certification that is valid for 2 years.
You Must print off and Bring the Completion certificate for the Online part to the Hands on Skill session or you will not be issued a card.
Students are allowed up to 60 days after the completion of the online part of the course to complete the skill session. If you do not have your skill session and testing done within 60 days of the date that you completed the online course, you will NOT be eligible to enter into a skill session.
